Warm, friendly reception on arrival. Outstanding veterinary care and gentle handling of my cat. Was given time to discuss alternative ways forward which was much appreciated. Follow up email to blood tests was very clear and detailed; the vet had gone to considerable time and trouble to prepare it. In both cases all costs were itemised. I can’t fault anything: unreserved thank you to everyone.

Friendly and accommodating practice. The reception staff are helpful. Vet was excellent - confident and swift which really reduced my pet's anxiety, and helpfully informative and reassuring.

Been with this practice 9 months now and all staff have impressed me with their friendly and professional approach, really glad they are my local vets. Both my dogs go there and the care is top notch.

I have been a client of the practice for 45 years - I first went to the practice when I was 7 or 8 years old and it was still a portacabin. I have had six cats cared for there. My most recent cat had multiple health issues and two of the vets- both now left - James and George - fought to restore him to health. They were amazing. More recently he developed a kidney injury that he could not recover from. I am awaiting a conversation with the director but I already pointed out via an email to her that, unlike with previous cats, I was surprised had received no sympathy card when he died - despite my telling the home visit euthanasia service specifically to notify them. She apologised and confirmed it was something they normally do but that was nearly 2 weeks ago and still no card. This may sound petty but his death was stressful and followed shortly after an emergency hospitalisation- and the practice had received a sizeable 5 figures sum from me over the 5 years I had him. If you normally send sympathy cards why not this time? And if it was genuinely an oversight why hasn’t it been rectified? Sometimes the small gestures do matter and it’s a real shame that it seems that, despite having spent so much time with him, the practice couldn’t be bothered to make this gesture to commemorate his death- and also in so doing, acknowledge the impact on me. I didn’t follow their exact instructions in the last days of his life (I took actions that were supported via a second opinion) and maybe this is why they haven’t bothered to send me a card? I now feel as if I am viewed as an inconvenience rather a than a valued client. RIP Winston- I will remember you even if this practice doesn’t. It’s a real shame when the human side of care falls by the wayside- I would happily give them 4 or 5 stars clinically but this has disappointed me.

Fantastic. Lovely people. I took my cat in as he was clearly unwell. Neha immediately identified that he had pneumonia as a result of underlying asthma, rushed him into urgent care. She was phenomenal in her ability to explain the problem, what they would do next and brilliant when I started crying when she warned me that he might not pull through. Thankfully he did and he’s fully recovered. Cannot thank Neha and the rest of the team enough.

Amazing,caring staff

Deeply disappointing service for a paid Pet Health Plan We enrolled in the Pet Health Care Plan expecting proactive, reliable preventative care. What we experienced instead was poor capacity planning, last-minute cancellations, and unprofessional front-desk conduct. Our dog’s 6-month health check was due in December, yet we were told no appointments were available and had to accept a late January date. This was already a significant delay for a paid plan designed to prioritise preventative care. Despite receiving multiple reminders confirming the appointment — including one the day before stating the appointment time — we received a call just a few hours before the appointment cancelling it. When we explained that: • the appointment had been booked months in advance, and • the check had already been delayed well beyond the recommended timeframe, the receptionist ended the call abruptly. This is not a question of inconvenience — it reflects a lack of respect for clients, poor communication standards, and insufficient concern for animal welfare. Hanging up on a client in this context is unacceptable. If a practice struggles to deliver routine, prepaid health checks, it raises serious concerns about how more urgent situations are handled. At present, the Pet Health Care Plan feels more like a subscription revenue tool than a reliably delivered service. We are now actively reviewing alternative veterinary practices and would welcome a response from management explaining how this situation occurred and what corrective steps are being taken.

Have been going to this vet for years with our pet rabbit. Everyone here is kind, understanding and willing to help out where they can. Highly recommend.
