If I could give 10 stars I would. I’ve never met a vet like Bridget or a team so caring for our pets when we need them most. On numerous occasions Bridget and the team went above and beyond their duty to assist us with our late dog Billy. If it hadn’t been for Highgate Vets I truly do not think he would have lived as long as he did. Bridget continues to go above and beyond not just caring for the pets but also the wellbeing of the owner. There simply isn’t another practice like this for miles. How lucky are we to have it on our doorstep. When you walk in you are greeted with such warmth and friendliness and even the dogs who are nervous are put at ease with the calming atmosphere. I would and do recommend Highgate vets to every pet owner I know.

First time visiting. Receptionist's were super friendly. Vet took her time and gave the cat a thorough inspection, asked lots of questions and was really helpful. Charge was very reasonable.

I was on holiday in Willingham with my basset hound. Unfortunately he had picked up a tick. The staff here agreed to see him and were very kind and welcoming. Problem solved. Thanks so much

Our elderly Border Terrier Brian had been visiting this vets when it opened and he was met with such care, kindness and compassion. He was very afraid of the vets as he was a rescue from Woodgreen. It was normally pretty hard to get him past the entrance of his previous vets but he did manage it here and I feel that it was down to the time and care that he was given. Sadly he took a turn for the worst one morning and had been struggling through the day with eating, drinking, vomiting and shakiness, we were given options to make him more comfortable and to try and maximise the longevity of his life which is what we hoped for. He passed away the same evening at the but I will always be thankful for the staff that made sure we were seen immediately that evening and the kindness towards us during those moments. We were sent a card and forget-me-not seeds to plant where he now rests. Thank you Bridget for helping us send him off as calmly as possible and the kind gestures after he passed. I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic 🐕

As always, fantastic experience at Highgate. Took my cockerpoo Maggie for an operation yesterday. Thank you Sophie for your time and kindness pre and post op. Didn’t feel hurried and went away knowing Maggie was in safe hands.

Bridget and her team have cared fantastically for our various rescue dogs through a range of illnesses and care needs. We’ve had dogs big and small, old and young, with a range of behavioural issues as well as medical needs. The team have really taken the time to get to know our dogs and have always been patient, kind and thoughtful. Everyone has always gone out of their way to explain the various treatment options to us and offer practical solutions. We’d recommend Highgate Vets without hesitation!
