I first went to ash Croft when I rescued my husky and needed him to be checked out, I saw Dragon he was so professional and so gentle with my dog he went above and beyond and I have never gone anywhere else I have been using this surgery now for 14 years I have always seen Dragon and Laura and when my boy got cancer he looked after him so well and explained everything to me, Dragon referred me to Nole Fitzpatrick to see what could be done for him but unfortunately a operation wouldn’t make a lot of help because it could of spread and his age as well went against him So We took our boy back to Dragon and he was under his care for 3and years until my Blaze passed on Dragon again went above and beyond and the odd occasion’s Dragon wasn’t on shift he told the staff that if I needed him anytime that he would see me and Blaze and one time He was out so he turned his car around and came back to the surgery to see my boy, not many vets would do that I have 3 more huskies and I must admit I’m not happy in seeing anyone else I know we won’t find a more caring vet then Dragon and we had the upmost trust in him And my dogs loved him He would get down on their level and talk to them and cuddle and stroke them and they trusted him And I have just recently heard that Dragon as retired we will miss him as our vet but wish him well and happiness

If I could give 0 stars I would, extremely rude receptionist ,my dog needed a blood test they took my beloved dog bought her back and said you must pay for the tests now !!!! I said I would pay once I've seen the vet they replied NO pay now, so I paid then when I was in the consulting with the vet the receptionist shouted through and said that's another £60 you have to pay for meds . Also on arrival at the vets they said I could have a appointment at 10am I replied ok we will wait there reply was NO you. Cannot wait here as we have other patients and they said there's a cafe down the road you can go to nobody turned up till 9.30!!!! Extremely unproffessal staff no care whatsoever , one good thing we got out of this place & will not be using them again disgusting how they speak to people

They looked after Yoko for 14 years until she was sadly laid to rest. They were so kind and thoughtful and a big hug by the vet made me feel loved and cared for. Thank you to the staff for everything

Fantastic vets – caring, professional and always put our dog’s wellbeing first. The whole team is friendly, supportive and we completely trust them with our dog’s care. Highly recommend!

The receptionist is very rude and unhelpful. I’ve been hung up on and unhelpfully told to “email” without being provided the contact because seemed in a rush to get the call over and done with while I’m stressing about my pet. Unfortunately this puts you off from the place as they are the face and entry into the service. However Mario one of the vets is very kind, attentive and helpful.

Rude and unfriendly receptionist, makes you feel very unwelcome. Repeated questions whilst booking an appointment as if you know all the answers. However vets inside were very helpful and friendly but just wish the receptionist was more welcoming. Also more on the expensive side. Also had the another bad experience with a hamster recently which she needed medication and the vet was trying to pressure me to get her euthanised when all she needed was painkiller and she lived another year after that happily.
